Just finished listening to it. Looking forward to hearing more episodes. Nice to see the RP side of things focused on a little bit.

  4. Played the embedded version on this page and it stopped halfway through the Dunning-Kruger segment.

Otherwise, seems like a good start!

  5. Just listened to it. Very good, I like where you are going with this ‘cast. My one suggestion: if you are serious about podcasting for the long term, upgrade the mic. I reccomend the Blue Eyeball or Snowball as per this post here:
    http://ninveah.podbean.com/2010/07/31/not-an-episode-01/

It will stop some of the mic-pops from your speaking I heard and give you a more richer voice. Not cheap I know, but so worth it.

  6. I really enjoy the idea of a RP/fiction centered podcast. I am looking forward to the next one.

I politetly disagree with one of your statements. I do not think Eve will stay the life blood of CCP. Just yeasterday, I was in a record store and saw roleplay books for World of Darkness. This was owned by White Wolf now CCP North America. So any supplies you by from them will fund CCP. Add to that when WoD MMO comes out and Dust514, then CCP will have multiple streams of revenue.

This will keep them from being at the mercy of the Eve playerbase.

Very nice. I like the Chronicles. Thanks for doing this.

How do I get the rss into an iPhone app? When I copy the URL it says no feed.

  8. @kirithkodachi: Thanks! If this seems to get traction, I’ll definitely spend some cash on a new microphone.

@jason: My thought is that WoD probably brings in less revenue than EVE does, and that EVE appears to get more internal resources. As for DUST, it may provide additional revenue but its performance in the marketplace is an open question.

@Commandoii: I don’t know why it’s not picking it up when you put in the URL, but try to copy this link and see if that works for you.

  9. Hey Kyle,

Thought the cast was great, and kudos for doing it.

I found when recording Srs Bzns, a good mic, pop shield and a little bit of noise gating made a huge difference to the quality of the audio. I’ve listed the gear I use over at the podcaster forum at http://srspodcast.com/forum , and I’d welcome your input there.

    best of luck

    BH
